Our story

From first design to daily operations, in one team.

Fundamental IT Solutions is a product-engineering company based in Taguig, Metro Manila. We were formerly Nova Aurora Technologies.

We design, build and run web platforms, mobile apps, backend services and cloud infrastructure. We stay on after launch to monitor, respond and release changes, under an ongoing support agreement.

Three projects we built are live today.

  • VoltHubAn EV charging platform: driver app, operator console and back end.
  • B-TicketA deals platform in the Philippines: consumer app, website and merchant portal.
  • NOMAD Beauty & Skin CareA website in English, Simplified Chinese and Malay for a skin care studio in Kuala Lumpur.

We also work with clients remotely, including a studio in Kuala Lumpur.

Principles

How we work.

  • One team from design to operations.

The people who design a product also build it, launch it and help run it. Knowledge stays with the team, so the people on call understand the systems they run.

  • Boring technology where it counts.

For payments, data and the parts of a system that must not fail, we choose mature tools with a long record in production. A newer tool has to solve a problem the proven ones cannot before we adopt it.

  • Everything typed, checked and observable.

We write typed code and run automated checks in CI before anything ships. Error monitoring and tracing show what failed and where, so we fix the cause instead of guessing.

  • Write it down.

Runbooks, release steps and post-incident reviews are written and shared with your team. A process that only one person knows is not finished.

  • No black boxes.

Code, infrastructure and release steps live in version control with written docs, so anyone on your team can see how a system is built, deployed and run.

Process

How an engagement runs.

  1. 01

    Discover

We learn how your business works, who the product is for and which systems it has to connect to. We start from what already runs, including the systems you have today.

    You get

    • A written scope that names the systems involved
    • A plan you can review before any build starts
  2. 02

    Design and build

We design the product and build it in typed code, with automated checks in CI and a content editor where your team needs one. Infrastructure is written as code, and changes go through review.

    You get

    • Working software in a staging environment you can test
    • Infrastructure as code, reviewed like any other change
  3. 03

    Launch

We release from staging to production, with error monitoring and tracing switched on. For mobile apps, we run the builds and store submissions through Expo EAS.

    You get

    • A live product, with the release steps written down
    • Error monitoring and tracing in place from the first release
  4. 04

    Operate

We stay on to monitor, respond and release changes under an ongoing support agreement. Each system we operate has a runbook, and after an incident we write up what happened.

    You get

    • On-call cover for production, following written runbooks
    • Written post-incident reviews, shared with your team
